You’d be forgiven for thinking that a place with the nickname ‘Sin City’ is less than child-friendly destination, but take away its casinos and late-night shows and you’ll find that Las Vegas holidays are as tailored to both children and adults alike.

That’s right, Las Vegas holidays are a fabulous choice for guests of all ages, with the city boasting more than its fair-share of family-friendly hotels. Accommodation aside, you’ll also find an endless list of fun-filled activities and pursuits that your bundles of joy will love!

Looking to whisk the family away on a once in a lifetime holiday? Here are just a few of our favourite things to do in Las Vegas when travelling with the family.

The Tournament of Kings

The Tournament of Kings, Las Vegas

It's long been every little boy has dreamt of being a fearless knight. And we’re certain every little girl has wanted to be a regal princess. Well, thanks to the amazing Excalibur Casino, this dream can finally become a reality.

Take your little ones for an awesome family day out at the Tournament of Kings dinner and show, where you’ll uncover the secrets of the Middle Ages. The show and banquet takes place in Excalibur’s 900 seat capacity theatre-in-the-round.

You’ll be able to enjoy an authentic Medieval feast before hearing entertaining tales, inspired by King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Kids of all ages will also get the chance to see these valiant knights compete in jousting tournaments. It’s sure to set their imaginations alight!

Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

Siegfried and Roy are famous for two things; their record breaking Las Vegas residency and their fondness for big cats. Their Las Vegas shows went on for an incredible 13 years, cementing their place in Las Vegas’ hall of fame.

Sadly, the famous magicians called time on their performing days, but not without leaving one final gift to the city, in the form of an animal habitat and conservation centre at the Mirage. Here, kids can get up close and personal with bottlenose dolphins, white tigers, white lions, leopards and many more fascinating creatures. It’s a must-see on any Las Vegas holiday!

It includes all of the usual fairground attractions, including waltzers, bumper cars and roller coasters, as well as plenty of fun games. On top of this, the Circus Circus lays on brilliant comedy and acrobatics shows, as well as performances from hilarious clowns.

But the icing on the cake has to be the Canyon Blaster roller coaster, which blasts riders around a desert-inspired track at an incredible 55mph! We bet you never thought you’d be going that fast indoors on your Las Vegas getaway.
