Travelbag’s Family Fortunes

Intro1

As the summer draws ever closer, it can only mean one thing for families around the UK - summer holidays! Yes, that time of the year is almost upon us when we escape the unpredictable weather of the British summer and embark on our family getaways abroad to spend some quality time together.

As soon as that invigorating break is booked we begin to countdown the days until we can jet off and enjoy all of the holiday fun with the children. When that moment comes after all of the time spent wishing away the days, we arrive in that new sunny and exotic land where we can wind down and finally relax. It is however typically at that point that against all logic we all find ourselves guilty of missing home! Despite knowing that you are having a great time and creating lasting memories, after a while the new foreign surroundings and unfamiliar faces naturally cause us to miss those accustomed home comforts that we love so much.

Here at Travelbag we decided to team up with the top family blogger network, Tots 100 to ask those all-important holiday questions and find out their thoughts about their own family vacations. In true British fashion, results revealed that we struggle to go abroad without missing familiar food and kicking the holiday of with a nice cup of tea! The infographic as you can see below was carried out in the nation’s favourite ‘family fortunes’ game show style. We pulled together hundreds of answers to reveal ‘the top answers’, so CLICK HERE to take a look at the visual and see what ‘our survey says…’
