You can take in the amazing scenery from the top of the incredible water slides, before taking a plunge that brings unrivalled, adrenaline-fuelled excitement for the whole family; the aqua experience of Dubai will leave you instantly wanting more.

So, whereabouts can you find this first-class waterpark experience? Well here at Travelbag, we have decided to give you a choice, as we select the ideal places across the region for you and your family to visit.

Aquaventure WaterPark
@ATLANTIS

For a guaranteed heart racing rush, why not visit Aquaventure Water Park at the Atlantis The Palm. As the number one water park in the Middle East, Aquaventure is home to record breaking rides and superior slides that are sure to provide a fun filled day of exploration for all thrill seekers.

Discover a wide variety of exhilarating attractions including anaconda slides, wild wave pools, ferocious rapids and dual slides that allow you to race your rivals! You can take the leap of faith and catapult yourself into shark infested waters as the ‘The Tower of Neptune’ hurls you down to earth, or you can test your nerves as you battle the king of the sea on the 37m-high ‘Tower Of Poseidon’ – the planets largest and most terrifying water slide.

 Intro1

Open daily from 10.00am to sunset, there are packages on offer to make it an easier and more affordable day out for families and individuals. This heart-pumping wonderland simply does not disappoint and with so much on offer to quench your thrill seeking thirst, it is a place that you just can’t miss on your travels to Dubai. And don’t forget, you have unlimited access if you decide to stay at the Atlantis!

If maybe when it comes to rides you’re not the biggest adrenaline junkie, your children are holding you back, or worse, scared partners, then don’t worry because this water park has something for everyone. Found within its enormous 42-acre grounds are Dolphin Bay and Sealion Point. Here you can build lasting memories, as you get up close and personal with beautiful marine animals. The experience is an unforgettable interaction that will definitely excite the whole family, including the grumpiest of partners!

Wild Wadi Waterpark
@Jumeirah

Intro2

Wild Wadi Waterpark is situated in front of the stunning Burj Al Arab Hotel and is an ideal place to spend time with the family. Encompassing magnificent rides and facilities, the park itself is themed around nature and is based on the tale of Juha - a character from Arabian folklore who was believed to have been a philosopher and a wise man.

There are a number of attractions to choose from at Wild Wadi, each one with its own brand of adrenaline-fuelled excitement. The wild Jumeirah Sceirah, a 32 metre-tall tower with two tandem slides, provides a spectacular view across the park and beyond. Simply cross your arms and legs and fly down at speeds approaching 50 miles-per-hour before reaching the bottom seconds later, in awe of what you’ve just experienced.

The park itself caters for all of the family’s death defying demands. From the ‘Master Blaster’ to the ‘Burj Surj’ there are over 30 attractions on offer to challenge the bravest of thrill seekers! Opening times for the park vary slightly depending on the season. From November to February the opening times of the Wild Wadi are 10am-6pm but from March to October, the park is open from 10am-7pm.

If you prefer something a little more relaxing, take in Juha’s Journey. Comprised of a 360-metre long lazy river. Allowing guests of all ages to escape the madness and experience a gentle and tranquil journey without the splash of the bigger rides!

Of course, Wild Wadi is more than just a waterpark; it’s a resort for you and your family to enjoy all day. Dine in comfort at one of the park’s resident food retail outlets such as Ali’s BBQ or Riptide Pizza, which offer amazing family deals and more importantly tasty, healthy food. All in all you are sure to have a fantastic time.
