Oregon

Oregon is a world-class wine region with 17 approved winegrowing regions and more than 540 wineries producing 72 different varieties of grapes. Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay are just a few of the wines that are fermented to perfection in the North Western state of Oregon. Popular winegrowing regions in Oregon include Portland and The Willamette Valley.

California

Home to famous Napa Valley, California produces some of the countries most loved wines and makes nearly 90% of the USA’s wines. Over 100 different varieties of grape are grown in California producing house hold names such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and many more. You can find the best winegrowing regions in California, Sacramento Valley and San Joa Quin Valley are just some of the famous names in California.

Ontario is home to great wine growing regions such as Niagara Peninsula and Lake Ontario. Different growing conditions throughout the state, allow for the production of a variety of wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc. Ontario even specialises in different fruit wines, minus the grapes these alcoholic drinks are a treat for the taste buds and come in a variety of flavours.

Washington has long been a prolific wine producing state and ranks second in the USA for the production of wine, behind California. Washington produced wine is loved all over the world and is there’s over 750 wineries located in the state. Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are just a few names among the favourites produced in Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley and many more.

British Columbia

British Columbia is home to great wine growing regions such as Vancouver Island, Fraser Valley and Similkameen Valley. The British Columbia climate is slightly milder than a lot of places in Canada which makes it an ideal place to grow grapes, such as Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Gris and more. With over 273 wineries situated in British Columbia alone, wine production has rocketed since the beginning of production in 1990.
