Leaving Watarrka behind, you'll travel to Alice Springs. On arrival visit the School of the Air, an educational service for children living in remote areas, and the historic Telegraph Station, the first site of European settlement in Alice Springs which was established in 1872 to relay messages between Darwin and Adelaide.
