13 Days San Francisco - Los Angeles

Days 1-3: San Francisco - Yosemite National Park:
This relaxed tour, open to all ages, provides an in-depth discovery of the national parks, with a multitude of adventurous activities, from hiking to horseback riding. After a brief tour of San Francisco, head east through the Gold Country to spectacular Yosemite, your home for the next three nights. Enjoy hiking trails, bike rides, river swimming and view the massive granite rock formations and waterfalls in stunning Yosemite Valley.

Days 4-6: Yosemite - Zion National Park:
After a night spent camping under the desert stars, arrive in Zion for a two-night stay. From the campsite, enjoy a full day of hiking to Angel's Landing or the Emerald Pools, or grab a mountain bike for a visit to a nearby ghost town.

Days 7-9: Bryce Canyon - Monument Valley:
Enjoy a day spent hiking amongst the multi-coloured rock 'hoodoos' of Bryce Canyon, catch a ferry to a lakeside campground on the shores of man-made Lake Powell, and learn about Navajo culture on a jeep tour of the unique landscapes of Monument Valley. The campsite here is on Navajo tribal land, allowing superb sunset photography amidst the mesas and buttes of this unique destination.

Days 10 & 11: Grand Canyon National Park:
Two nights at the awesome Grand Canyon gives a full appreciation of its beauty and scale. Hiking into the Canyon is possible for the more active, otherwise ranger-guided nature walks along the rim and optional helicopter flightseeing are also recommended.

Day 12: Las Vegas:
Enjoy a night of glitz and glamour in the the entertainment capital of the world - fabulous Las Vegas! Explore the famous casino hotels along the 'Strip' and have a flutter if the moods take you. Don't miss the chance to grab some last-minute shopping, Vegas offers everything from designer malls to factory outlet stores.

Day 13: Las Vegas - Los Angeles:
Drive across the cacti-studded landscape of the Mojave Desert to Los Angeles, where we say our fond farewells on the conclusion of the tour.
