Day 1: Los Angeles - San Diego:
The tour commences with an early departure from the Hacienda Hotel, where we recommend you book a pre-tour night's accommodation. Travel south to San Diego, where you can enjoy sightseeing and an evening at leisure.

Day 2: San Diego - Tucson:
Travel into Arizona for a two-night stay in the historic border town of Tucson, famed for its giant saguaro cacti. Enjoy a Western-style barbecue dinner (included).

Day 3: Tucson - Tombstone - Tucson:
Today, visit the historic Mission of San Xavier del Bac, and the former frontier town of Tombstone, the site of Wyatt Earp's legendary shoot-out at the OK Corral. Return to Tucson for an evening at leisure.

Day 4: Tucson - Sedona - Grand Canyon:
Travel through the Sonoran Desert and admire the hardy plants and cacti that manage to survive in these dry conditions. Visit bohemian Sedona before arriving at the Grand Canyon to visit lookout points along the South Rim.

Day 5: Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Lake Powell:
Admire the morning light as it casts its unforgettable spell over the Grand Canyon, then tour the iconic rocky landscape of Monument Valley. Its instantly recognisable mesas and buttes have been filmed countless times to represent the popular image of the Wild West. See the mighty Glen Canyon Dam on arrival in Page, and behind it the crystal-blue waters of man-made Lake Powell.

Day 6: Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon:
Enter the Mormon state of Utah for a visit to spectacular Bryce Canyon, where you'll tour its multi-coloured world of sandstone pinnacles known as 'hoodoos'.

Day 7: Bryce - Zion National Park - Las Vegas:
Travel today to Zion National Park and see the massive rock formations that line its beautiful verdant valley. This afternoon, arrive in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, and check-in for a two-night stay.

Day 8: Las Vegas:
Enjoy a full day at leisure to enjoy Las Vegas' legendary casinos, world-class shopping and Broadway-style shows.

Day 9: Las Vegas - Los Angeles Departure:
Cross the Joshua tree-studded landscape of the Mojave Desert en-route back to Los Angeles, where the tour comes to an end on arrival.
