14 Days Los Angeles - Los Angeles

Days 1-3: Los Angeles - San Francisco:
This active adventure tour explores the stunning national parks of the western USA, and combines camping with hotel stays in four fantastic cities. The tour starts by visiting Hollywood, before following the Pacific Coast Highway north to camp amongst the Redwoods for a sunset stroll along the beach. Visit Monterey or Carmel, and arrive in San Francisco for a two-night stay. Enjoy a full day at leisure to take in the sights and sounds of this wonderful city.

Days 4-6: Yosemite National Park:
Cross the Bay Bridge and climb into the Sierra Nevada for a two-night stay in Yosemite. Hike to the magnificent waterfalls, hire a bike to explore Yosemite Valley, enjoy a horseback ride through the meadows or float down the Merced River.

Days 7 & 8: Las Vegas:
Leave nature behind for a few days of man-made fun in the gambling and entertainment capital of the world – fabulous Las Vegas!

Days 9 & 10: Grand Canyon:
Nothing you have ever seen before will prepare you for your first glimpse of the spectacular Grand Canyon, its awesome scale and depth are simply breathtaking. Hike from the forested South Rim to the rocky scenery below, marvel at the ever-changing colours and shadows, or take an optional helicopter ride for the ultimate experience.

Days 11-13: Grand Canyon - San Diego:
We’ll stop for a night at Lake Havasu, the current home of the old London Bridge, then head for the southern Californian city of San Diego. Home to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park and the SeaWorld theme park, there’s plenty to see and do, but those Pacific Coast beaches are also beckoning you to relax! You can even head over the border into Mexico to pick up some shopping bargains.

Day 14: San Diego - Los Angeles:
Time to say goodbye to your new-found friends, as this fantastic tour comes to an end on arrival in Los Angeles.

• Campsite accommodation in shared tents, including most camping essentials
• Sightseeing as specified in the itinerary, this does not include any adventure, sporting or 'optional' activities
• National Park entrance fees
