Grand Canyon Railway

Tour GCR - 8-9 hours

Travel by steam engine or vintage locomotive (Oct to mid-May) from Williams to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Before the train departs you will enjoy a Wild West 'shootout' show in the outdoor theatre and a visit to the railroad museum, then it's 'All Aboard' for this scenic journey through the valleys and desert plains of northern Arizona. On board, musicians conduct sing-a-longs and characters re-create scenes of train robbery from the early 1900s. Upon arrival at the historic Grand Canyon depot (located close to the El Tovar Hotel), you will have just over 3 hours to discover the beauty of this vast chasm for yourself before the return to Williams.

Coach class: Price £50 per adult, £28 per child (11-16 yrs) and £22 per child (2-10 yrs).
