Day 1: Arrive Phoenix – Scottsdale:
On arrival at Phoenix Airport, set in the heart of the ‘Valley of the Sun’, make your own way to the nearby resort town of Scottsdale. There's time this afternoon to enjoy the leisure facilities of your luxurious accommodation, before meeting your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome reception and dinner. (D)
Accommodation: Overnight: Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Day 2: Scottsdale – Sedona – Grand Canyon:
This morning, visit Montezuma Castle National Monument and see the deserted cliff dwellings of one of the oldest known Native American civilisations. Then it is on to the beautiful resort town of Sedona, which is surrounded by towering red rock formations that have provided backdrops for hundreds of Western movies. Afterwards, wind through magnificent Oak Creek Canyon to Flagstaff, beyond which the Grand Canyon awaits. Nature's most spectacular example of erosion, 277 miles long and over a mile deep, it must be the ultimate in silent majesty and sheer beauty. Tonight you stay in a hotel close to the rim of the Grand Canyon, which allows you to watch the sunset over this wonder. (BD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Kachina or Thunderbird Lodge

Day 3: Grand Canyon – Lake Powell:
The Grand Canyon captures the imagination. It is easy to be mesmerised by its grandeur, by its chameleon-like colours and by the unbelievable realisation that its vastness is a result of the forces of nature. The morning is free for you to browse the Canyon Rim and Grand Canyon Village. After lunch (not included), enjoy photo opportunities along the East Rim Drive and then pass through a Navajo Reservation en-route to the resort of Page, where we will spend the next two nights. (BD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Lake Powell Resort

Day 4: Lake Powell:
Built in 1963, the Glen Canyon Dam transformed the Colorado River into a massive lake 186 miles long. Fringed by narrow fjord-like canyons and unusual red rock formations, there is no lake like it on Earth! Enjoy a 30-minute sightseeing flight over the lake this morning and, this afternoon, choose from either a boat cruise to remote areas of the lake or a four-wheel drive jeep adventure to the mesmerising Antelope Canyon. (BD)

Day 5: Lake Powell – Bryce Canyon:
Enjoy the excitement of a float trip through the scenic Glen Canyon stretch of the Colorado River. Back on dry land, continue through the archetypal Western resort town of Kanab en-route to the awesome Bryce Canyon National Park, a weird and wonderful landscape of yellow, orange and red rock pinnacles known as 'hoodoos'. You stay overnight at the only hotel located actually within the park itself. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Bryce Canyon Lodge

Day 6: Bryce Canyon – Zion National Park:
The morning light brings a colourful new palette to Bryce Canyon. Enjoy walking the Rim Trail or, less strenuously, hop on and off the coach as it stops at the various scenic points of interest. After lunch, it’s off to Zion National Park for an overnight stay in the heart of the park. Zion is noted for its narrow, tortuous canyons and isolated buttes and mesas. You wind deep into the canyon where great red precipices rise on either side and widen into a beautiful valley carpeted in green. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Zion Lodge

Day 7: Zion National Park – Las Vegas:
Depart Zion National Park this morning and experience something of Utah's Mormon culture as we pass by the Mormon Temple in St. George, en-route to Las Vegas, the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World'. This evening you are invited to a farewell reception and dinner. You may wish to end the evening with a show (at your own expense) or a flirt with Lady Luck in the casino. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Caesars Palace

Day 8: Las Vegas:
The morning is at leisure for relaxing, shopping or a final flutter before your tour ends on check-out from your hotel. Make your own way back to Las Vegas Airport for your onward or return flight. (B)
