Havasupai Heli-Hiking

Departures: Daily from Tusayan (Grand Canyon South Rim)

Truly the pinnacle of high adventure, this wonderful tour allows you to enter and enjoy a personal insight into the unique world of the Havasupai Indians who have inhabited the area for hundreds of years. Descend by helicopter to the bottom of the Grand Canyon where this small village is located. The captivating blue-green waterfalls that entice visitors are located beyond the village and can be seen, and heard, as you hike or trail ride down to the campgrounds.

The 100-foot plunging Havasupai Falls are 2.5 miles from the village, then a further 2 miles on you can discover the majestic Mooney Falls. This waterfall has a height of 200 feet and drops with a thunderous roar. Please note, Mooney Falls can only be reached by a narrow ledge hike. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, this really is an experience not to be missed!

Price £311 per adult, £300 per child (2-11 yrs).

It is recommended that you carry plenty of water, suntan lotion and wear comfortable shoes and a hat. We also recommend that you carry some of your own food with you as there are limited goods available at Havasupai. Fuel surcharge $10 per person, payable locally.
