Founded in 1901 the Dixie Dude Ranch is nestled high up in the Texas Hill country and is more an old-style, traditional guest and working ranch than a resort.
Enjoy two daily horseback rides over the rolling Texan countryside and in the evenings sit round campfires that light up the starry sky, and be entertained with cowboy songs and dancing. Please note that there are no evening meals or activities on Sundays, but the nearby town of Bandera provides a lively alternative. An excellent choice for a family ranching experience, accommodation is rustic but comfortable and includes modern amenities.
