Whale Watch Kaikoura
Tour WWE – 3.5 hrs
Enjoy a breathtaking up-close encounter-of-a-lifetime with the giant sperm whale. Not only will you be introduced to the magnificent sperm whale (year round), but you may also see migratory humpback whales (June and July), orca (December and March), New Zealand’s tiny hector dolphins, the high-spirited dusky dolphins, fur seals and the royal albatross. Kaikoura has the largest concentration and variety of seabirds on mainland New Zealand including 13 species of albatross, 14 varieties of petrel and seven types of shearwater. Every whale-watch tour is a unique experience and the sightings vary but the possibility of seeing all this makes the trip one not to be missed.
