Stewart Island Wilderness Escape (Walking)

Day 1: Invercargill – Bluff – Stewart Island
Depart Invercargill by coach to Bluff where you will board an 11:30am ferry to Stewart Island. After being met on arrival and transferred to your accommodation, board the Underwater Explorer Cruise. Later join the Village and Bays Tour, where you will explore Oban and gain an insight into the community, history and environment. (D)
Accommodation: Overnight: Stewart Island Lodge for two nights

Day 2: Stewart Island
This morning is at leisure to discover Stewart Island. Depart this afternoon on the Paterson Inlet cruise including a guided walk on Ulva Island, an internationally acclaimed open sanctuary, where many rare and endangered native species of birdlife and plants flourish in a predator-free protected environment. Day 3: Stewart Island – Bluff – Invercargill
Depart Stewart Island by ferry to Bluff and onward by coach to Invercargill. (B)
