Middle Earth In Wellington

This marvellous day tour explores many of the Lord of the Rings filming locations and much more. Although most of the film sets have now been removed, the New Zealand scenery remains as an image of Middle Earth, and even if you’re not a big fan the films, the stunning scenery will more than compensate. The first half of the tour takes in the Gardens of Isengard, the felling of the Orc Tree, Anduin River, Helms Deep and Minas Tirith, the Fords of Isen, Dunharrow and Rivendell. Stop for morning tea at the top of the Mount Victoria lookout and marvel at the view of the city. Following a gourmet lunch you’ll head for stunning and exclusive Lothlorien where you will see where Smeagol fought Deagol beside the Gladden fields. Included is a trip to Miramar and Seatoun, New Zealand’s Hollywood.
