Cape Reinga by Air & 4WD

Departures: Tour CAPE1 – 5hrs

Enjoy the spectacular scenery on a one-hour flight up to Cape Reinga over bush-clad hills, fjord-like Whangaroa Harbour, unspoilt Doubtless Bay and world famous Ninety Mile Beach. The views are most breathtaking from the air and this is, without a doubt, the best way to experience the area. Afterwards, enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour 4WD tour to Cape Reinga Lighthouse, the beautiful Tapotupotu Bay and the Te Paki stream with its giant sand dunes – if you are brave enough you can have some fun sledding down them! On your return you will arrive back at the airfield for the one-hour flight home to Paihia, during which you’ll take in the views of the Parengarenga Harbour, with its glistening clear waters and white sands, Cavalli Islands, Kauri Cliff’s golf course and the Bay of Islands. Morning or afternoon tea is included.
