The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs

Set on 6,000 acres just north of the Bay of Islands, this beautiful lodge affords spectacular 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Cape Brett and the offshore Cavalli Islands. In Matauri Bay, Northland, it borders three secluded beaches and more than 1,000 acres of native forest.

11 guest cottages, each with two elegantly furnished guest suites with private verandah, bedroom with sitting area and walk-in wardrobe, TV, open fireplace and bathroom. The cottages are nestled on the edge of the forest and overlook the ocean and golf course. Room service is available.

The main lodge has a spacious beamed living room, card room, fitness centre and small computer room. There are two tennis courts and an infinity swimming pool with spa. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and gourmet à la carte dinner and full breakfast. The chef is also a master of exotic and tempting desserts! The Kauri Cliffs par 72 championship golf course has spectacular views. It will challenge every skill level and has a practice range, plus putting and chipping greens.
