Very few places can rival New Zealand for its impressive combination of pristine wilderness, gourmet experiences, footprint-free beaches, indigenous culture and warm hospitality. Boasting an impressive tradition of luxurious lodges and boutique hotels, unsurpassed by ... well, virtually anywhere, New Zealand captures the hearts of all who visit.

Days 1 - 5: Auckland – Bay of Islands – Auckland
Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’, with its stunning natural harbour, is a cosmopolitan and vibrant city. After picking up your rental car, your home for your first night is Mollies Boutique Hotel. The owner’s passion for opera, design and fine antiques is evident in every room resulting in an eclectic yet sophisticated environment. During your stay in Auckland you will be treated to a private guided tour of the harbour aboard a luxury yacht. Spend a further two luxurious nights at the Lodge at Kauri Cliffs in the Bay of Islands, set on 6,000 acres of spectacularly scenic land with 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean before returning for one more night at Mollies.

Days 5 - 9: Auckland – Rotorua – Napier
Drive through the lush Waikato region to Rotorua where tranquillity and splendour await at Treetops Lodge. During your two-night stay enjoy a helicopter tour of Waimangu Thermal Valley, Rotorua Lakes and Mount Tarawera and plenty of time at leisure to visit Rotorua Museum and the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Continue southwards via Lake Taupo to the art deco city of Napier, home to some wonderful wineries within the Hawkes Bay area.

Days 9 - 13: Napier – Wellington – Queenstown
Pass through breathtaking scenery until you reach Palliser Bay, home to one of New Zealand’s most prestigious and exclusive lodges: Wharekauhau Country Estate. After overnighting here, drop your car in Wellington and fly to Queenstown, treasured for its magnificent scenery and luxurious lifestyle. You will be staying at the stunning Eichardts private boutique hotel, situated in a premium lakefront position in the heart of Queenstown’s café and restaurant district. Enjoy a private tour of this beautiful city and environs and a superb Milford Sound heli-tour with a champagne lunch at a mountainside goldminer’s cottage.

Days 13 - 15: Queenstown – Mount Cook – Christchurch
Venture north to Mount Cook National Park and on to Christchurch and Huntley House for your final two nights. This quintessential New Zealand colonial house is the perfect base from which to visit the picturesque village of Akaroa, home to the hector dolphin, the world’s rarest. Enjoy your last taste of New Zealand’s celebrated fine cuisine and divine wines before your onward journey.
