Discover Jasper & Maligne Lake Cruise

This introduction to Jasper begins with a short tour of the town before heading to Maligne Canyon, where you can walk beside the narrow limestone gorge and view the magical waterfalls. Next, head to the Medicine Lake viewpoint, for amazing views of the Colin and Queen Elizabeth Ranges. A one and a half hour cruise on Maligne Lake gives you the opportunity to view the magnificent shoreline with dense forests and glacial peaks that rise from the water's edge. Be sure to take some pictures of Spirit Island, one of the most photographed islands in the Rockies. On your return journey to Jasper, watch out for the local wildlife, including bears, deer, moose, wolves, coyotes and even eagles which are regularly spotted in the vicinity.
