Helmcken Falls, at 150m high, is the star attraction of the huge wilderness of Wells Gray Provincial Park, located in central British Columbia around 5-6 hours' drive north of Vancouver.
Located at the park entrance, you are perfectly positioned to get back to nature. Originally built as a hunting lodge in 1948, it has been expanded to include a variety of log chalets and timber-frame buildings. There's an extensive range of outdoor activities available locally, including canoeing, rafting and horse riding, whilst winter guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dog-sledding with the huskies.
