Day 1: Arrive Calgary
On arrival at Calgary International Airport make your way to the Alamo rental station to pick up your hire car and drive to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Calgary – Banff
Set your sights today on the magnificent Canadian Rockies. Feel the majesty of these mountains as you first travel through the foothills and then into Banff National Park. (80 miles)
Accommodation: Standard: Banff Ptarmigan Inn, Superior: Fairmont Banff Springs

Day 3: Banff National Park
Today is free to tour Banff and the surrounding area. We suggest a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain or a stroll through town browsing the many shops.

Days 4 & 5: Banff – Jasper
Drive to Jasper via the spectacular Icefields Parkway. We suggest stops at Lake Louise and Peyto Lake en route. At the Columbia Icefield take a ‘Snocoach’ ride onto the massive glacier and perhaps taste some of the purest water on earth, direct from a glacial stream. (176 miles)

Day 6: Jasper – Sun Peaks
The Yellowhead Highway will take you on a route first explored by trappers and traders. You will see Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. (242 miles)

Day 7: Sun Peaks – Vancouver
On your journey to Vancouver you will traverse the sagebrush-covered ranchlands along the South Thompson River and drive through the lush Fraser Valley. You may wish to drive via the resort of Whistler, and take in one of the many activities available. (250 miles)

Day 8: Vancouver Departure
Return your Alamo car to the depot by the time it was picked up on day one to avoid any additional charges.
