Day 1: Arrive Calgary
On arrival at Calgary International Airport make your way to the Alamo rental station to pick up your hire car. Upon check-in at your downtown hotel, you will receive your personalised documentation kit. Spend the rest of the day exploring Calgary.

Day 2: Calgary to Waterton Lakes National Park
Head south from Calgary today to the mountains of picturesque Waterton National Park, to board the International Boat for a breathtaking tour of Waterton Lake. (171 Miles)

Day 3: Waterton Lakes National Park
You have a full day to explore Waterton and the surrounding area, and there is also the option of a side-trip to Montana's Glacier National Park, via the famous "Going to the Sun" road.

Day 4: Waterton Lakes National Park to Lethbridge
There is not much mileage to cover today, with your first stop being Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. This Interpretive Centre tells tale of the buffalo hunting culture of the Plains Indians, and is on the site of one of the First Nations’ most sacred places.This afternoon head to Fort Macleod, the first western outpost of the famed ‘Mountie’. (81 Miles)

Days 5 & 6: Lethbridge to Drumheller
Depart Lethbridge this morning and travel north to Dinosaur Provincial Park. This site contains the greatest concentration of dinosaur fossils found on earth. Plan for a half day at the museum, and then perhaps take a drive around the Dinosaur Trail. (187 Miles)

Day 7: Drumheller to the Columbia Icefields
Leave early today and visit the Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site, which showcases the history of the Hudson Bay Company and the Northwest Companies. From here, continue into the Rockies and onwards to the Columbia Icefield Centre. (269 Miles)

Day 8: The Columbia Icefields to Banff
Today you will experience a ride on to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier, aboard the specially constructed 'Ice Explorer'. Then head south to Lake Louise, the 'Jewel of the Rockies' and the quintessential image of the Rockies, before heading down to Banff. (83 Miles)

Day 9: Banff
Explore Banff today and check out the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. To complete your day, take a dip in the hot mineral pools at the newly-renovated Upper Hot Springs, and soothe those aching muscles.

Day 10: Banff to Calgary
