The unspoilt landscapes of Canada have an irresistible draw, and the majestic beauty of the Rockies is, for many, the essence of Canadian wilderness. Our leisurely fly-drive combines some of the most captivating natural scenery with some truly superb hotels in unrivalled locations to provide you with a journey you will remember forever.

Day 1: Calgary
Pick up your car at the airport and make your way to the Fairmont Palliser, an historic landmark property located in the heart of the city. Best known for hosting the annual Calgary Stampede, Calgary is a friendly and welcoming city located where Alberta’s prairies meet the mountains.

Days 2 - 4: Calgary – Banff
Journey through the foothills of the majestic Rockies to Banff National Park. Check into the impressive Fairmont Banff Springs, your home for the next two nights. For over a century this grand hotel has embodied the magnificence of the Rocky Mountains. With spectacular views from every room, relax and enjoy the scenery, pamper yourself at the renowned Willow Stream Spa or enjoy a round of golf or a spot of skiing depending on the season.

Days 4 –5: Banff – Lake Louise
Just a short journey today through the Bow Valley to the picture-postcard setting of Lake Louise. Located within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the majestic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise enjoys one of Canada’s most photographed settings. Spend the day immersing yourself in the spectacular surroundings.

Days 5- 7: Lake Louise – Jasper
Drive to Jasper via the spectacular Icefields Parkway. Snow-capped mountains, azure blue lakes and evergreen forests line your route. Take an optional ‘Snocoach’ ride onto the massive Columbia glacier before arriving at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, in the heart of Jasper National Park, where you will stay for the next two nights. Why not enjoy a cruise on Maligne Lake, go horseback riding or visit Mount Edith Cavell glacier?

Days 7 - 8: Jasper – Vancouver on board the Rocky Mountaineer
Board the legendary Rocky Mountaineer for a two-day, daylight service through more than 960km of coastal forests, roaring river canyons and snow-capped mountains. Attentive staff and unrivalled scenery on board the Gold Leaf service make for a truly spectacular experience.

Days 7 - 9: Vancouver
Arrive into Vancouver in the late afternoon and transfer to the Fairmont Waterfront overlooking Victoria Harbour. Enjoy a private city tour as your wonderful journey comes to an end.
