Québec's Winter Experience & Ice Hotel

7 Days Montréal - Montréal

This fantastic independent tour showcases winter in Canada at its very best, combining the contrasting cities of Montréal and Québec with a visit to the unique Ice Hotel.

Departures:
Daily (05 Jan - 23 Mar)

Day 1: Arrive Montréal
You will be met on arrival at Montréal Airport, and enjoy a private transfer to your downtown hotel, where you check-in for a two-night stay.
Accommodation: Overnight: Delta Montréal

Day 2: Montréal
Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Montréal, the second-largest French-speaking city in the world, after Paris. This cosmopolitan city has much to offer year-round, including a whole underground network of shops and restaurants!

Day 3: Montréal - Ice Hotel (Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier)
Transfer from your hotel to the train station, and travel by VIA Rail to Québec City. From here, you will be driven the short distance to the Ice Hotel, a magnificent structure made entirely from snow & ice, and featuring an ice chapel and grand hall complete with ice candelabra. You'll stay at the adjacent Pavilion, but this evening you have the option of spending the night actually in the Ice Hotel. (D)

Day 4: Ice Hotel Activities
Today, enjoy optional activities at the Ice Hotel such as skating and snowshoeing, kick back with a vodka in the ice bar, or enjoy the unique outdoor hot tubs. (BD)

Day 5: Ice Hotel - Québec City
Transfer back to historic Québec City and check-in for a two-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the many attractions of the charming Upper and Lower Towns, including the Citadelle and Fortifications.

Day 6: Québec City
Today has been left free for independent discovery of Québec City. Enjoy the beautiful setting, high above the St. Lawrence River, and the historic ambience that guarantees delights in each of its narrow cobbled streets. Find a little bistro tonight to sample the haute cuisine for which the city is renowned.

Day 7: Québec City - Montréal
This morning, a private transfer will take you to the railway station for your VIA Rail journey back to Montréal. Your tour concludes on arrival in Montréal with a private transfer back to the airport.
