Day 1: Arrive in Montreal
On arrival into Montreal’s Trudeau Airport, make your own way downtown to your chosen hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 2: Montreal
Enjoy a three-hour sightseeing tour of Montreal where you will see Olympic Park, Mont Royal, Jacques Cartier Square as well one of North America’s finest examples of religious architecture – the Notre Dame Basilica. The rest of the day is yours to experience this vibrant city.

Day 3 : VIA Rail / The Chaleur
Before your evening departure, spend the day shopping or sightseeing. Once on board The Chaleur, enjoy the sunset over the St Lawrence and let the train rock you to peaceful sleep.

Day 4: VIA Rail / The Chaleur – Gaspe
Awake in the Bay de Chaleurs, a land of red bluffs, sandbars and salmon rivers, and so named by the explorer Jacques Cartiers because it resembled Spain. Upon arrival in Gaspe, transfer independently to your hotel and enjoy and afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Gaspe – Percé
A sightseeing transfer will take you from Gaspe to Percé via the Forillon National Park. Here you see where the forces of nature have been at work creating a stunning landscape of cliffs, coves, rocky headlands and sandy beaches. Then continue to the town of Perce where you can investigate the Percé Rock.

Day 6: Percé
A cruise to Bonadventure Island await today, where you will witness the breathtaking spectacle of 250,000 birds nesting on the island – 70,000 of which comprise of the northern gannet colony. Upon return to Perce explore this most quaint of villages, famed for its excellent food and sure to tempt the palate.

Day 7: VIA Rail / The Chaleur – Montreal
A final day free in the Gaspe Peninsula, so why not explore the antique shops and galleries of Percé, before boarding the train to head back to Montreal?

Awake in the heart of Montreal where your tour finishes, you will leave for your onward arrangements with enduring memories of this magical place.
