Day 1: Arrive Toronto
Upon arrival in Toronto, make your own way to your downtown hotel, where guests on the 12-day tour check-in for a two-night stay. After meeting your Tour Director, the remainder of the day is free to explore the city.

Day 2: Toronto
Get better acquainted with your travelling companions over breakfast before exploring Toronto on a morning city tour. Afterwards, the day is free for independent exploration or you can join an optional Toronto Hippo tour for a unique sightseeing experience. Step aboard the amphibious Hippo coach and enjoy a tour that combines the city’s landmarks and harbour scenery with a cruise through the lagoons and marinas. The afternoon and evening are yours for shopping, exploring and sampling Toronto's vibrant dining, nightlife and theatre scenes. (CB)

Day 3: Toronto – Montréal
Guests joining the 9-day Eastern Explorer from Toronto begin their tour with a 7am check-in with the Tour Director at the Delta Chelsea.|Travel east today, following the pleasant north shore of Lake Ontario. Your first destination is the beautiful Thousand Islands resort region where you will embark on a relaxing cruise. After taking in the sights and sounds of this river playground, reboard your coach for the drive to Montréal, and check-in for a two-night stay. (CB)

Day 4: Montréal
Guests on the 9-day Eastern Explorer from Montréal begin their tour with an afternoon check-in to tonight's hotel, the Delta Montréal.|Enjoy a sightseeing tour today of Montréal, the second-largest French-speaking city in the world, visiting the Olympic Complex, the residential areas of Mount Royal and charming Old Montréal. This dynamic city encapsulates the two founding cultures of Canada and boasts a curious blend of history and modernity. (CB)

Day 5: Montréal – Québec City
This morning, follow the route of Canada’s first carriageway, the Chemin du Roy, deep into French Canada. On arrival into Québec City, tour the old walled city and view the Lower Town, the Citadel, Battlefields Park and the ornate city gates. Relax this evening and enjoy the charms of this enchanting destination. (CB)

Day 6: Québec City
The day is at leisure to explore the narrow streets and unique boutiques of historic Québec City, which has been classified as a World Heritage Site. You may also wish to enjoy an optional full day excursion to Tadoussac including a three-hour whale watching tour on the St. Lawrence River. Step aboard a boat or high-speed Zodiac and go in seach of the world’s largest mammal, and on the return journey visit the spectacular Montmorency Falls, some 30 metres higher than the world-famous Niagara. This evening is yours to discover the haute cuisine on offer at one of Québec's intimate restaurants. (CB)

Day 7: Québec City – Ottawa
This morning journey west past Montréal, across the Ontario border and on to Ottawa, for a two-night stay in the nation's capital. Lunch is included today at Sucrerie de la Montagne, a pioneer-style restaurant and authentic sugar shack. (CB,L)

Day 8: Ottawa
After a unique First Nations-themed breakfast at Turtle Island, your morning features an interesting tour of Ottawa. View the Parliament Buildings, the residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General, the Rideau Canal and much more. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Ottawa's world-class museums and galleries or enjoy a spot of shopping on the Sparks Street Mall. (CB)

Day 9: Ottawa – Midland
Enjoy an encounter with Ontario's northern wilderness country, with a visit to the Algonquin Provincial Park, an immense wildlife and forest preserve. The Muskoka resort region is your destination for the night. (CB)

Day 10: Midland – Niagara Falls
This morning you will stop for breakfast at the historic site of Sainte-Marie-among-the-Hurons before continuing through the vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula. On arrival in Niagara Falls, enjoy a cruise to the foot of the powerful torrents aboard the 'Maid of the Mist'. The afternoon and evening is at leisure. (CB)

Day 11: Niagara Falls – Toronto
Before you leave Niagara Falls this morning, take in the stunning views from the top of the Skylon Tower before following the scenic Niagara Parkway to the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Back in Toronto this evening, enjoy a special farewell dinner at the CN Tower. (CB,D)
Accommodation: Overnight: Delta Chelsea Hotel or similar., Guests on the 9-day itinerary from Toronto end their tour upon arrival at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, and must pay the Tour Director locally should they wish to attend tonight's farewell dinner.

Day 12: Depart Toronto
For guests on the 9-day tour from Montréal and the 12-day tour from Toronto, your holiday comes to an end on check-out from the hotel. Make your own way to the airport for any onward travel arrangements. (CB)
