Enjoy an eight-day tour contrasting the urban charms of Montréal with the rugged coastline of Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula. After spending a couple of days enjoying the delights of Montréal, the world’s second-largest French-speaking city, travel by VIA Rail, on Le Chaleur Train, through mountainous terrain to Gaspé, following the mighty St. Lawrence River as you go. The Gaspé Peninsula is as ethnically diverse as the varied landscape you will see from your motorcoach. Notice the accents change as you travel through native settlements, Acadian villages and small English towns. As well as a sightseeing tour of Montréal, this tour will also take you on a cruise to Bonaventure Island and the famous Percé Rock, and includes an excursion into Forillon National Park.
