Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg Tour

Travel along the picturesque south shore of Nova Scotia and discover charming towns along the way such as Shad Bay and West Dover. This coastline has a strong history of fishing and boat building, and is the setting for many a story of pirates and smugglers. The prosperous town of Lunenburg is home to Nova Scotia's largest fishing fleet, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to explore its charming streets and boutiques. Lunenburg is a colourful and well-preserved maritime community founded by German settlers, and its history and architecture has earned it a well-deserved place on UNESCO's World Heritage List. On the way back to Halifax, you'll travel along scenic Mahone Bay, famed for the churches along the shoreline.
