Day 1: Perth – Monkey Mia
Journey north this morning past the lobster fishing town of Port Denison where a short stop is made for lunch by the water’s edge. Continue past the unusual "leaning trees" to Peron Peninsula and the region of Shark Bay where you will spend the night at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, situated right on the beach where the dolphins come in. Day 2: Monkey Mia – Carnarvon
Set out today along the Peron Peninsula to interact with the families of wild bottlenose dolphins at Monkey Mia, they very rarely miss a visit. After lunch, travel via the incredible and untouched Shell Beach, where you will set eyes on billons of tiny white shells streching as far as the eye can see. Stop to view the ancient Stromatolites, the world’s oldest living creatures, before continuing north. (BLD)

Day 3: Coral Bay
Coral Bay, centrepiece of the pristine Ningaloo Reef, is situated close to the shore, making it one of the most accessible reefs in the world. The reef forms a 260km barrier along the coast and creates a sheltered lagoon inhabited by a rich and colourful array of sea life, including exquisite corals, rare starfish, giant clams and over 460 species of fish, manta rays, dugong and dolphins. Choose from option one – a 1.5hr cruise in a glass-bottom boat and option two – a 2hr snorkelling cruise to discover the reef’s pristine beauty. (BD)

Day 4: Carnarvon – Kalbarri
Heading south, visit the resort town of Kalbarri and explore one of the spectacular deep red river gorges of Hawkes Head. Follow the dramatic coastal cliffs and view wildflowers in season (July to September) before arriving at Kalbarri. (BLD)

Day 5: Kalbarri – Perth
Journey via the spectacular coastal gorges of Kalbarri to Cervantes – gateway to one of Australia’s most unique attractions – the Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon-like landscape and truly one of Australia’s most mystical experiences. After lunch, time will be allowed for you to wander among these limestone spires before returning to Perth. (BL)
