Day 1: Broome – Windjana Gorge National Park
Depart Broome (7am) for Derby, where you visit the Boab Prison Tree. Then join the Gibb River Road accessing some of the Kimberley’s best scenery. Continue via Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge and the Lennard River, to your exclusive camp in the heart of Ngarinyin country. (LD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Imintji Wilderness Camp for two nights
Day 2: Bell Gorge
Back on to the Gibb River Road, travel through outback landscapes to Bell Gorge, where rugged cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. The afternoon is yours to explore the spectacular scenery and swim below the waterfall. (BLD)
Day 3: Galvans Gorge - King Edward River
Today, travel through the heart of Kimberley cattle country before lunch under shady paperbark trees. Then travel north towards the isolated Mitchell Plateau. Your exclusive camp is on the banks of the upper King Edward River. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Marunbabidi Wilderness Camp.
Day 4: Mitchell Plateau – Ungolan Wilderness Camp
On the Mitchell Plateau, enter a remote world of Livistona Palm forests, lookouts, Aboriginal art, waterfalls and swimming holes. (BLD)

Day 5: Mitchell Falls
Today, discover the beauty of Mitchell Falls. Avail of the opportunity to take a helicopter flight over the falls and surrounding wilderness or a longer flight (own expense) over the remote coastline. (BLD)
Day 6: Mitchell Plateau – King Edward River
Today, view galleries of ancient Aboriginal art. Lunch is at a majestic spot alongside the cool waters of the upper King Edward River. (BLD)

Day 7: El Questro Station – Emma Gorge
Cross the mighty Durack River – a waterway inhabited by saltwater crocodiles. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: El Questro, Emma Gorge Resort, tented safari cabins
Day 8: El Questro – Kununurra
Time to explore El Questro. Soak in the hot pools of Zebedee Springs and visit the station. Then head to Kununurra via Five Rivers Lookout. (BL)
Accommodation: Overnight: All Seasons Hotel, Kununurra for two nights
Day 9: Ord River – Lake Kununurra
Join a guided cruise on the Upper Ord River to Lake Kununurra. Admire the spectacular scenery and look for birdlife, flying foxes and crocodiles. (B)
Day 10: Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park
Departing Kununurra, travel to Purnululu National Park home to the unique World Heritage Bungle Bungle Range. Enjoy the unique wilderness experience without having to ‘rough it’. (BLD)

Day 11: Bungle Bungle Range
Hike into Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge. There is time for a helicopter flight (own expense). (BLD)
Day 12: Halls Creek – Fitzroy Crossing
Visit Halls Creek, an old goldmining town, before heading to Fitzroy Crossing. (BLD)
Accommodation: Overnight: Fitzroy River Lodge.
Day 13: Geikie Gorge Cruise – Broome
A unique cruise is guided by a traditional Bunuba land owner, who will detail the gorge’s cultural significance. After lunch, return to Broome. (BL)
