Huon Valley with Peppermint Bay Cruise

Tour 773 – 8 hrs

Enjoy spectacular views of Hobart, including Salamanca Place, the Wrest Point Casino and the Derwent River before heading into the Australian bush at the Tahune Airwalk for some even more stunning views. Walk under tall fern canopies and along the tannin coloured Huon River. Other highlights include the towns of Kingston and the rural villages of Geeveston, Franklin, famed for its wooden boat building, and Huonville, hub of the Huon Valley.

Lunch is a home cooked country affair at a local farm where you can choose from local salmon, beef or venison, and after lunch even feed the cows. Later visit Peppermint Bay at Woodbridge for afternoon tea (own expense) before joining a spectacular cruise from Peppermint Bay passing through the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Bruny Island and some magnificent waterways before arriving back into Hobart.
