Maria Island Walk
This award winning four day walk is a fascinating journey through one of Australia's most beautiful island national parks. Recently nominated for World Heritage listing, the island is also described as a modern day 'Noah's Ark' where many rare Tasmanian birds and animals can be seen wandering unafraid on this island sanctuary.
Gentle walking by day is complimented by some fine food and drink, two nights in exclusive wilderness camps and a final night in a Heritage listed house. With 2 guides accompanying a maximum of 8 guests, walking is graded as easy to moderate and takes place on formed tracks or beaches with firm sand. Most walking is on flat ground except for a gentle climb on day 3. What a way to see the wilds of Tasmania!
