Montville Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains

Tour SMMGM - 10.5 hrs

Visit the delightful towns of Montville and Maleny where you are free to browse the various art and craft galleries and speciality shops at your leisure. Exploring among the majestic peaks named by Captain Cook in 1770, you will see some of the 25-million-year old volcanic plugs that form the Glasshouse Mountains. The views from the lookouts here are breathtaking. You descend through eucalypt and rainforest with the scenery changing as you move into the fruit bowl of the Sunshine Coast, where pineapple, macadamia nut, banana and pine trees are plentiful. You’ll get a chance to sample some of this delicious produce for yourself when you stop at one of the many local fruit stalls. Departs Fridays.
