Day 1: Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour
Begin your Hanoi experience at the Old Citadel, Ba Dinh Square – site of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and ‘Ho Chi Minh Quarter’ for a look at the life of the father of modern Vietnam. Visit his humble house on stilts and continue on to the intriguing Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch, visit Hanoi’s first university – the Temple of Literature – dating back to 1070 and the infamous ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison. (B)

Day 3: Dawn in Hanoi
Experience dawn in Asia with a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and observe the multitudes of locals practicing Tai Chi, before continuing on to one of the local markets. Enjoy a cyclo ride through the fascinating Old Quarter where you can observe the daily bustle of life. Enjoy the rest of the day free. (B)

Day 4: Halong Bay
Journey east to Halong Bay. Enjoy a magical four hours aboard your boat cruising around the bay, considered Vietnam’s greatest natural wonder. Stop at one of the many secluded bays for a refreshing swim (weather permitting) and lunch on board. (BL)

Day 5: Depart Hanoi
Transfer to the airport to your onward flight. (B)
