4 Night Handmade Hoi An and Hue

Day 1: Danang – Hoi An
From Danang Airport you will be transferred south to your hotel in Hoi An. Take a walking tour of enchanting Hoi An, visiting an old merchant house, the Hoi An Museum, a Chinese assembly hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge, learning more about Vietnam's old trading centre. Tonight, relax and enjoy dinner at one of the many riverside restaurants.

Day 2: Hoi An
Visit the bustling Hoi An fish market to experience dawn in Asia and the local traders haggling for the best catch of the day. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Thu Bon River before lunch at a favourite local restaurant sampling regional specialities (at own expense). The afternoon is then free to enjoy this beautiful town and stroll through the tree-lined boulevards. (B)

Day 3: Hoi An – Danang - Hue
Travel north to Marble Mountains with its mythical outcrops housing Buddhist shrines before continuing onto Danang to stop at the Cham Museum. After lunch journey on towards the old imperial capital of Hue via the spectacular Hai Van Pass with its coastal and rual settings, considered one of the most beautiful in Vietnam. Finish a long day with a relaxing cyclo tour along the outskirts of the Citadel the impressive home of the Nguyen Dynasty. (B)

Day 4: Hue
Visit the tomb of the 2nd emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Minh Mang, and the French influenced tomb of the 12th emperor Khai Dinh before returning for a closer look at the Citadel. Continue on to the much revered Thien Mu Pagoda before enjoying a leisurely dragon boat cruise back to town on the Perfume River. (B)

Day 5: Depart Hue
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
