Day 1: Hong Kong – Guangzhou:
You will be picked up and transferred to Hong Kong station for your train to Guangzhou – the chaotic capital of the Guangdong Province and the birthplace of China’s most famous revolutionary, Dr Sun Yat Sen. This afternoon’s sightseeing tour will include visits to Dr Sun Yat Sen’s Memorial Hall, the Six Banyan Trees Pagoda and the fascinating livestock market at Qingping. Overnight at the Garden Hotel (or similar) in Guangzhou. (LD)

Day 2: Guangzhou – Zhaoqing:
This morning, head for Zhaoqing, making stops en-route to see old buildings still surviving from the Qing Dynasty. There is time to admire the dramatic waterways, caves and limestone towers of Seven Star Crags Park, which make Zhaoqing one of the most beautiful towns on the Pearl River Delta. Overnight accommodation is at the Star Hotel. (BLD)

Day 3: Zhaoqing – Foshan – Ping Zhou – Hong Kong:
After breakfast, proceed to Foshan to visit Liang’s Garden, the Ancestors’ Temple (which dates from the Ming Dynasty) and the ancient Nanfeng Kiln before making a quick stop after lunch to admire the handicrafts on display at the Folk Arts Studio. Return to Hong Kong by boat in the late afternoon and transfer back to your hotel. (BL)
