The Banyan Tree Ringha, located 3,600 metres above sea level is the ultimate secluded hideaway.
Opened in October 2005, this is a remote paradise hidden in a Tibetan valley of snow-capped mountains. In true Banyan Tree style, the resort architecture reflects the local Tibetan culture. All guest accommodation was once traditional Tibetan farmhouses, now beautifully furnished with intricate woodcarvings, smoky fireplaces and wooden balconies that have valley or river views. The Tibetan Suites are very spacious and resemble traditional Tibetan cottages while the Tibetan Lodges are larger again. Three exciting dining options include Llamo featuring Chinese and western dishes served in a congenial atmosphere, Chang Sa which showcases the culinary delights of Yunnan and Jakhang, a speciality teahouse.
