Day 1: Port Elizabeth – Knysna
Head for the Paul Sauer Bridge, spanning 130m above the spectacular Storms River Gorge. Visit the Big Tree, an 800-year old Outeniqua Yellowwood within the Tsitsikamma Forest before heading via Nature’s Valley and Plettenberg Bay to Knysna.
Accommodation: Overnight: Knysna Log Inn or similar

Day 2: Knysna – Oudtshoorn
Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve and wander back through the Milkwood trees for lunch. Later, board the famous Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe train for a short trip and then travel over the stunning Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn where you will visit an ostrich show farm. (BL)

Day 3: Oudtshoorn – Hermanus
Visit the world-renowned Cango Caves before continuing onto Hermanus, with its clifftop setting above the deep waters of Walker Bay. This is one of the world’s finest sites for shore-based whale watching (Jun-Nov). (B)

Day 4: Hermanus – Cape Town
Today, depart Hermanus and travel to Stellenbosch for some wine tasting. Continue to Cape Town where the tour ends on arrival in the late afternoon. (B)
