Phinda Private Game Reserve

Cradled between the Ubombo Mountains and the azure Indian Ocean, Phinda is situated adjacent to the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands, one of Africa’s most ecologically diverse regions and now a World Heritage Site. Pristine beaches close by are the breeding ground for Giant Leatherback and rare Loggerhead turtles; freshwater lakes and river floodplains are the domain of crocodiles, hippos and flamingos – whilst the dense bushveld is home to a great diversity of wildlife, including Africa's predators.
