Highlights of Kwazulu-Natal 2 Day Extension

Day 5: Babanango Valley – Hluhluwe/St Lucia Wetlands:
Travel via Melmoth, from where a detour to Ulundi – the final battle between the British and the Zulus – can easily be made. Afterwards head north towards the game reserves of Hluhluwe or St Lucia. Hluhluwe is famed for its rhino, where as St Lucia is a bird lover’s paradise. The area is also abundant in hippo, rhino and crocodile. (BD) (228km)

Day 6: Hluhluwe/St Lucia Wetlands:
Enjoy a morning’s game viewing with a qualified game ranger. Relax during the heat of the day before embarking on an evening’s activity. Activities are not included at Hluhluwe River Lodge. (BLD) Lunch not included at Hluhluwe River Lodge

Day 7: Hluhluwe/St Lucia – Durban:
After a morning for activities, followed by breakfast, head back down the coast to Durban. Your hire car is booked until tomorrow (7 days car hire) but must be returned no later than the original pick up on Day 1. (B) (299km)
