Fugitives' Drift Guest house and Lodge, Battlefields

Both Guest House and Lodge are set in the 2500 hectare Fugitives’ Drift Nature Reserve, which overlooks the battlefield of Isandlwana and is home to giraffe, zebra, antelope and 275 bird species.

Eight kilometres from Rorke's Drift, the immediate area is steeped in the history of the Anglo-Zulu war and Anglo-Boer war.

The Lodge has eight spacious & luxurious en-suite cottages, each with a private ver&ah, TV, & tea/coffee making facilities. The Guest House has six terracota en-suite cottages decorated in a simple ethnic style, each with a private verandah.

Include a shady garden & swimming pool. But it is the battlefield tours, led by guides whose stories conjure up dramatic images, for which Fugitives’ is renowned.
