5 Day Luxury Nile Explorer

Oberoi Philae has a special charm and is the only Nile cruiser to offer private balconies to each cabin. Elegant interiors with teak panelling, parquet floors, European antiques and Oriental carpets create an ambience of luxury.

Day 1: Cairo - Aswan
Transfer from your Cairo hotel to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Oberoi Philae for embarkation at noon. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board and later visit the botanical garden by Felucca. Afternoon tea, a cocktail reception, À La Carte dinner, followed by music and dancing completes your day. (LD)

Day 2: Aswan - Edfu
After a sumptuous buffet breakfast visit the High Dam, Old Dam, The Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Sail to Komombo and after lunch see The Temple of Sobek in Komombo before setting sail Sailing for Edfu. Tonight enjoy a Galabiya costume party. (BLD)

Day 3: Efdu - Luxor
Today visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu then Sail to Essna. Cross the Essna Lock and onto Luxor. Tonight enjoy a black and white themed dinner with music and dancing. (BLD)

Day 4: Luxor
Luxor offers an amazing array of landmarks. Visit the West Bank - Valley of the Kings, Queens, Madinet Habou and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon is at your leisure to relax on deck or explore further. (BLD)

Day 5: Luxor - Cairo
After breakfast, disembark and visit Karnak and Luxor Temples before your Nile adventure ends with a transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. (B)
