Chobe & Impalila Island

Chobe Chilwero
The 15 large, air-conditioned, thatched bungalows have been refurbished to the height of luxury. Enjoy game viewing from open 4x4 safari vehicles as well as boat trips on the river.

Impalila Island
An enormous baobab is the central feature of the lodge, with living and dining areas surrounding this extraodinary tree. An extended deck area with swimming pool faces the Zambezi and the setting sun. Eight chalets, with en-suite shower and flushing toilets, have private verandahs for magnificent bird-watching opportunities.

Day 1: Livingstone – Chobe
Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be met and assisted with your transfer by road and boat to Chobe Chilwero where you will spend your next two nights. Chobe is renowned for its huge herds of elephants, buffalo and excellent lion sightings. (D)

Day 2: Chobe
Enjoy another day of game activities and relaxation. (BLD)

Day 3: Chobe – Impalila Island
After breakfast, transfer by road and boat to Impalila Island. Impalila lies in Namibia’s easternmost tip, where Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia all meet. Whilst the surrounding terrain is dry and parched, the Zambezi and Chobe rivers provide life-giving respite to the migratory herds of game. This is a peaceful Island where relaxation is of the essence. (BLD)

Day 4: Impalila Island
Spend another day relaxing and enjoying the activities on offer. (BLD)

Day 5: Impalila Island – Livingstone
After a morning activity and breakfast, transfer by road and boat to Livingstone Airport. (B)
