But this diverse island has plenty more to offer beyond the coast, so try to explore if you can. Tranquil Ubud, in the heart of Bali, is certainly worth a visit. This place has a huge focus on culture and wellness, so you can expect to find yoga retreats, traditional dance shows and incense-filled temples. Make sure you head to Ubud’s famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, too, where you’ll be able to see playful Balinese long-tailed monkeys.
