East Coast Malaysia

Malaysia’s lesser travelled east coast offers visitors a slower pace of life and a more traditional setting than the better known west coast resorts. Just off the idyllic coastline lies several small islands with pristine white sands and lush inland jungles; the sparsely inhabited Redang and Tioman Islands can both be accessed by flight direct from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, plus the coastal towns of Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu also have convenient nearby airports.
